Cereal Candy

Name: Cereal Candy
Ingredients: 1 box Golden Grahams (18 oz?); 1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips; 1 cup sugar; 4 cup mini-marshmallows; 6 cup Rice Chex; 7 oz coconut (or 7 oz bag coconut?); 1/2 cup butter; 1/4 cup brown sugar; 2 tsp vanilla; Optional: sliced almonds

• 1 box Golden Grahams (18 oz?)
• 1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
• 1 cup sugar
• 4 cup mini-marshmallows
• 6 cup Rice Chex
• 7 oz coconut (or 7 oz bag coconut?)
• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 tsp vanilla
• Optional: sliced almonds

Instructions

1 Mix cereal, nuts, coconut in large bowl.
2 Boil sugar, marshmallows and butter in pan for three minutes; remove from heat.
3 Add vanilla.
4 Pour mixture over cereal; mix to coat.
5 Optional: stir in chocolate chips after mixture cools slightly (or sprinkle on top).
