Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients
- • 12 cup Flour
- • 4 tbsp Yeast
- • 1½ cup Powdered Milk (dry)
- • 1 cup Sugar
- • 4 tsp Salt
- • 4 Eggs
- • 4½ cup Hot Water
- • 1 cup Melted Shortening
- • For filling: 1 cup Sugar
- • For filling: 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- • For frosting: 1/3 cup Butter
- • For frosting: 3 cup Powdered Sugar
- • For frosting: 1½ tsp Vanilla
- • For frosting: 2 tbsp Milk (approx)
Instructions
- 1 Stir salt, sugar, shortening, water, 6 cup Flour, eggs & yeast into a batter. Let rest 20 minutes.
- 2 Add 6 cup flour, 1 cup at a time and knead into a soft dough. Let rise double.
- 3 Divide in half and roll out into a square. Brush with melted margarine.
- 4 Mix 1 cup sugar & 1 tbsp cinnamon and spread 1/2 the mixture on dough (may also add raisins or nuts if desired).
- 5 Roll up and cut rolls with dental floss 1/2" thick. Repeat with second half of dough.
- 6 Put rolls on greased cookie sheets and let rise until double.
- 7 Bake at 350°F for 20 min. Frost while hot.
- 8 Frosting: Mix butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk until spreadable. Frost rolls.
