Dad's Oatmeal Choc. Chip Cookies

Name: Dad's Oatmeal Choc. Chip Cookies
Ingredients: 2 cups butter, softened (4 sticks); 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar; 1 cup sugar; 2 eggs; 2 tsp vanilla; 2 cups unsifted flour; 2 tsp baking soda; 1 tsp salt; 2 tsp cinnamon; 1/4 tsp nutmeg; 6 cups oats (not quick oats); 20 oz semi-sweet choc chips; 2 cups walnuts

Ingredients

• 2 cups butter, softened (4 sticks)
• 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 cups unsifted flour
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/4 tsp nutmeg
• 6 cups oats (not quick oats)
• 20 oz semi-sweet choc chips
• 2 cups walnuts

Instructions

1 Beat butter, brown sugar and sugar until creamy (about 4 minutes).
2 Add vanilla and eggs and mix on low speed until mixed.
3 In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
4 Add dry mixture to the creamed mixture.
5 Stir in oats. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
6 Use medium cookie scoop. Cook for 9 minutes at 375°F.
