Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork loin roast (all fat cut off)
  • 1 tsp. cumin seed
  • 1 lb. dry pinto beans
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 can chiles
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

Instructions

  1. 1 Place in crock pot. Cover with water and cook 6 hours. Check if more water is needed.
  2. 2 Remove all bones.
  3. 3 Cook on HIGH, uncovered, for 1 to 2 hours to thicken.
  4. 4 Place on top of tortilla chips, tostado style.
  5. 5 Top with tomato, cheese, lettuce, and Salsa Fria.
